Got some extra time? Check out the local sights, including some of our favorite neighborhoods and destinations.


If you're spending some time in Portland, there's no shortage of interesting neighborhoods to explore. Be sure and check out the Portland Saturday Market. We recommend parking at one of the lots outside downtown and taking the MAX. Once you're downtown, you can walk along the Willamette waterfront or travel the Portland way by renting a bike.

Staying in Vancouver? Check out the Vancouver Farmer's Market or walk through historic Officers' Row. You can also take a tour of Fort Vancouver or Pearson Air Museum.

Got some extra time and want to do some sightseeing in the Gorge? Consider stopping to see the breathtaking views at the Portland Women's Forum and Vista House, or spending an hour or two hiking at Multnomah Falls. 

Ever been to an active volcano? Check out nearby Mount Saint Helens. If you're looking for blue water and sandy beaches, the Oregon Coast is only an hour and half from Portland.
